I have to admit … this was another good read but took me sometime to get into it after her last series… it was hard to switch over to new characters. She wrote this book near the sea where Charlotte inherited a bed and breakfast from her aunt. She hosted themed weeks and such highlighting authors such as a murder mystery author of which ended up having a murder during. Laying out the research and investigating clues with her neighbor who was her late aunts friend, she comes unravels history about her as well as solving the murder.

Confessions Of A Former Fox News Christian

A great book and a testimony of a radio personality once immersed in conservative far right politics. He was once very religious and stood for everything the Fox News people heavily promote. The only thing disappointing to me was that he totally deconverted from Christianity. Of course, that's his own journey.

Amy finds herself and her beau in the thick of things again as they discover another body. This one because of art and forgies not like the one before dealing with history and family property heritage although this was her uncles heritage in painting. With the investigation involving an out of town art investigator being brought in, her aunt has warmed up to him while hosting him as the annual festival gets into full swing. A donated art piece gets stolen that was donated to the festival fundraiser from her uncles collection which is intertwined with the murder. Lots of clues that finally pair together when she gets back from her surprise trip from NY to see her beau perform while the festival is being covered by her aunt and best friend who sent her. A great read for sure!

It was a good book and and challenging one to complete. It has its highs and its lows. So some parts I was happy to be finished with. One thing I get from the book. Everyone has struggles. I am not the only one. It is my job to overcome the struggles.

I think every teenager and 20’s should be required to read this book. Good for couples about to get married and for married couples. Listen all the way through. I almost quit a few times but was glad I did not at the end.

I started with a later book in the series, so when I started this one, wasn’t really what I thought, but by the time I got to the end had me wanting to read the next in the series. Amy is a librarian director who’s found a lady murdered in the archives. Meeting the new guy in town who wants to research some things they uncover clues which put her and her assistant and best friend Sunny in danger. Slow to start but has you wanting to read the next in the series by time your done!

A good book to learn about prayer and the value it has.

Acts I, II and III: A memoir
by Lynne Pitcaithley

This memoir was written by a former Carlsbad resident who was an influential educator for 50 years, very active in local theater, and had a great passion for animals. This passion got her a position on the local shelter board and well into her 90s, Mrs. Pitcaithley volunteered many hours to the Cat's Meow thrift store which helped raise money for the local shelter. I had the privilege to meet Mrs. Pitcaithley when she was in her 90s. She was there at the mall or PetSense when Mr. School dressed as Santa and posed with the pets for pictures. She autographed the copy of the book I just read and it's definitely a keeper.

Book #2 in the Book mobile cat mystery series is a fun, light read. Minnie and her cat Eddie manage to get involved in another murder mystery. I think I have found myself a fiction series to continue.
